ZRU Hunt For CEO
The Zimbabwe Rugby Union is seeking a new chief executive officer capable of turning around the waning fortunes of the sport.
According to a job advert flighted by the ZRU late Friday, the Union is seeking a CEO with a strong business sense and the ability to implement robust systems that will ensure “efficient and effective management of resources.”
The CEO will report directly to the ZRU Board.
Among the qualifications required from the new CEO are a minimum of World Rugby Level coaching certificate, experience at senior management level and excellent human management, communication as well as conflict management skills.
The new CEO is expected to start work mid January.
Nyararai Sibanda is the current president of the ZRU while Noddy Kanyangarara is his deputy.
