Zimbabwe’s representatives at the Zone VI Volleyball Club Championships are shining at the ongoing competition in Namibia.

The country is assured a team in the ladies final as Support Unit ladies meet rivals UZ Wolves in the semi-finals on Friday.

Zimbabwe men champions, Naba, continued with their fairytale as they qualified for their first semi-final at this level following a 3-0 dispatching of local rivals Support Unit in the quarter-finals.

Naba will play Botswana heavyweights BDF Six in their semi final on Friday.

After the court-side competition attention will turn to the Beach Volleyball championship running from December 18-20.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe has six candidates going through assessment to become international indoor referees.
