
Football ‘Charity Shield Part of Bosso Property’
Defending champions Highlanders have declared the ZNA Charity Shield is “part of their property” but will not take FC Platinum lightly when the make a trip to Zvishavane in the semi-final clash at Mandava on Saturday.
“The ZNA is in our cabinet and we want it to be a permanent feature in our cabinet. We are looking forward to the game and Platinum always give us a good run for our money,” said Bosso chief executive Ndumiso Gumede.
Bruce Kangwa, King Nadolo, exeperienced goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda, Douglas Sibanda are some players that are expected to carry the day for Bosso.
Platinum have added Nqobizitha Masuku, Hilary Bakacheza, Rodwell Chinyengetere and also welcomed back Walter Musona which are their major signings with veterans Gift Bello and Winston Mhango adding vital experience to steady the ship.
The miner’s coach Norman Mapeza says his side is not under pressure, but is rather taking the encounter as a guage of where they are ahead of the 2016 Premiership season.
“We will not put ourselves under pressure and after all it’s just a game of football. It will be a chance for us to gauge how we have gone with our preparations for the season.
