Commander Air Force of Zimbabwe Shooting Finals
ALL roads will be leading to Cleveland shooting range on Friday for the 2016 Commander Air Force of Zimbabwe Shooting Competition finals and prize giving ceremony.
The AFZ Public Relations Officer Tobias Mademe said the shooting finals are expected to start in the morning.
“Competitors from the services, local authorities and private shooting clubs have been battling it out throughout the week from Monday culminating in the finals on Friday. Winners will also be honoured for their marksmanship.
“The corporate world will also have a chance to participate in the shooting ceremony where they will participate in a fun shoot”, said Mademe.
The contestants are drawn from formations and units of the ZNA, Air Force of Zimbabwe, Murenga Shooting Club, the President’s Office, Fawcet and Modern Security.
The event is held annually and apart from keeping the soldiers in shape it also gives them an opportunity to mix and mingle with civilians sharing shooting ideas.
