Churchill staged a dramatic comeback to beat rivals Prince Edward on their way to defend the Harare  Province High Schools Volleyball Championships title at Ellis Robins  on Friday.

The Bulldogs recovered from two sets down to record a 20-25 22-25 25-16 25-18 15-10.

Victory looked certain for Prince Edward who powered to an early 7-3 lead in the decider.

But Churchill were not willing to throw in the towel. They fought scoring six points in a row to take the lead.
They kept the momentum and eventually completed their comeback.

For their consolation ,Prince Edward booked a ticket to the
National High Schools  Championships  as Harare will be represented by two teams with  Churchill going as the defending  champions and Prince Edward  as team Harare representatives.

In the girls final Mufakose 2 High also successfully defended their title after dispatching Roosevelt 20-25 25-15 25-17 25-22.

The National High Schools will be held in Midlands in a fortnight.
