Boost For Kadoma Cricket Club

Kadoma Cricket Club has partnered with an Australian sporting equipment company, Ninja Sporting, in a deal that will see the Melbourne firm donating various cricketing equipment as part of its initiatives of growing the game of cricket.

Ninja Sporting and the Kadoma Cricket Club are in a partnership called ‘The Move” aimed at boosting cricket interest and participation in the mining town.

Ninja Sporting owner Josh Banks has urged Kadoma residents to come out in their numbers and be part of the program set for December 17.

“We are proud to be working with Kadoma Cricket Club on a project that aims to increase participation in a game that has given us so much pride and joy,” he said.

“Despite a relatively small population, Kadoma has produced a number of incredibly talented cricketers,” Banks said.

National team players Neville Madziva and Tarisai Musakada are some of the players who were produced at Kadoma Cricket Club.

He added:

“The event is being held at Kadoma Cricket Club… where Ninja Sporting will be donating a significant amount of cricket equipment to the club.

“We encourage members of the community to come along and join in the fun.

“We have been fortunate enough to secure support from internationally recognised (music) producer Abra Simzz who will coordinate music for the day.

“A braai will be running and there will be a cricket match between the kids and adults.”

Ninja Sporting was founded and launched in Melbourne in 2015 and it has ties throughout Europe, Asia and Africa.
