Ndoro Wants Clean Sheet

ORLANDO Pirates star Tendai Ndoro believes keeping a clean sheet will increase Warriors chances of beating Algeria on Sunday.

Ndoro, who was on target against Cameroon in a friendly match that ended 1-1, believes they can score at least a goal every game.

"First thing we should keep a clean sheet, that is the most important thing.

"Then, if we can manage to score one, we will win the game. So the most important thing is to try and close our territory," said Ndoro.

It has not been easy for the former Chickenn Inn star to get a starting place ahead of either Nyasha Mushekwi or Knowledge Musona.

But what is certain is he will have a part to play against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

The striker says it is about the team and their success has been beyond their capabilities.

"We are excited and we thank God for being with us through the qualifying games.

"We are here to showcase our talent and it is a great thing to us players. We are ready and everyone is geared up," he said.
