Mutuma Divides Bosso Executive

THE Highlanders executive has been torn apart over whether to sign temperamental but talented former Dynamos hitman Rodrick Mutuma who started training with the Bulawayo giants on Monday morning.

Bosso coach, Erol Akbay immediately expressed satisfaction with the lanky Mutuma after a two hour training session at Barbourfields Stadium with the Dutch coach boldly declaring, “keep this guy, he fits into our high tempo football’.

Akbay was responding to questions from the media after the training session who had asked what would be his (Akbay) recommendation to the Highlanders leadership on Mutuma.

Speaking earlier just before the start of Monday’s training session, Akbay said he had also wanted the big Francesco Zvikumbawire as he felt his combination with Mutuma would be ideal for Highlanders who are eyeing their first premiership title in 11 years.

“The two guys would have been perfect for us, one has speed, aggression while the other’s precision infront of goal is superb. Unfortunately Zvekumbawire has since signed for ZPC Kariba but I hope we will be able to sign Mutuma, who I just about to assess,” said Akbay.
