Jomo Cosmos club owner Jomo Sono’s son, Matsilele Sono, was hijacked Thursday morning in Houghton Johannesburg.

The Siya crew was alerted to the incident Thursday morning, that hijackers caught the midfielder-cum-striker in the driveway of his house when leaving to train at his father’s side, Cosmos, where he has been plying his trade for the past few seasons.

When contacted for comment, Jomo Sono said “I’m busy with the case of my son, he’s just been hijacked. I just want to worry about that for now.”

Matsilele Sono is one of Sono’s two sons, and is the younger brother of Bamuza Sono, who’s also been playing for his legendary father’s club, Cosmos.
