Hull 1-7 Tottenham: Harry Kane Treble Secures Golden Boot Again

Harry Kane wrapped up his second straight Golden Boot in style with a hat-trick as Spurs crushed sorry Hull at the KCOM Stadium.

The England forward netted two in two minutes inside the opening quarter-hour and in truth Tottenham could have scored far more than seven.

The Lilywhites ended their season having scored 13 goals in two away games over four days, becoming just the third Premier League away team to net seven goals after Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.

Christian Eriksen teed Kane up for the opener on 11 minutes, a crisp first-time finish before just 90 seconds later Kieran Trippier's low cross allowed him to convert from close range and move four clear of Romelu Lukaku in the Golden Boot race.

It was three just before the break for Spurs, with Hull coughing up possession in midfield all too easily. Kane and Heung-Min Son combined to allow Dele Alli to score this time.

Hugo Lloris saw his hopes of adding the Golden Glove to Kane's boot ended when Sam Clucas' shot deflected into the Tottenham net on 66 minutes but Spurs had a fair burst left themselves.

Victor Wanyama, despite looking decidedly offside, scored on 69 before Kane received a pass from Alli and completed his hat-trick in typically effective style with 18 minutes to go.

Ben Davies added the sixth, rifling in a first time shot from the edge of the box into the top corner before Trippier crossed for Alderweireld to make it seven.
