Zvasiya Declaration
THREE years ago Lincoln Zvasiya was loaned to Greek side OFI Crete as part of his development by his parent club ABSA Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs.

He was a defender that had promised much and there was belief he could be a pillar in the future.
The former Young Warriors hard man however never realised his potential and once he was discarded by the South African side, he fell further into the abyss.
Even efforts to redeem him by Taurai Mangwiro at Harare City never worked.
Now at ZPC Kariba, the player says he wants to forget about the past and concentrate on the future.
He was on target on Saturday as they dismissed Tsholotsho 2-1 and he has been a key player for Sunday Chidzambwa’s side this season.
“When I arrived here the coach (Chidzambwa) told me to forget about the past and concentrate on the future. He told me I can be back to my best and I believed.
“So far I have started about 15 games and in the past five games, I was only sidelined through injury. I have been used as a central defender or in defensive link and I’m equally comfortable,” Badra says.
The former Kaizer Chiefs man admits he struggled to come to terms with his situation last year.
“I had made it there and when I was in Greece, I thought that was another stepping stone I could use that to climb higher. The standard of play there was very high and I was able to stand my ground.
“Months later I found myself in a very bad situation and it really affected me up until now. I was back to square one. Now I believe I can fight my way up and again and become one of the very best in Zimbabwe,” he says.
He believes the environment at ZPC Kariba will allow him to excel.
ZPC Kariba Coach Sunday Chidzambwa
“Mr Sunday Chidzambwa is one of the best coaches in Zimbabwe and it is really an honour playing for him. I’m sure I will continue to improve with each passing game.”
His goal against Tsholotsho was his second this season.
“I do not get the opportunity to be in scoring positions too often because of my position but whenever I can; I must score for the team. It was like that against Tsholotsho when I scored with my head from a set piece.”
ZPC Kariba’s win means they are now nine points behind log leaders FC Platinum with nine games to go before end of season.
“We will continue fighting and trying to get better results. It is not yet over so we should keep on believing,” he says.
