The Zimbabwe Rugby Union on Thursday entered into a partnership with Econet Wireless where they received mobile phones for the Sables technical team at the Union offices.

Two mobile devices, a tables and a regular mobile phone, were presented to the ZRU chief executive Colleen de Jong.

“We are delighted and this is a highly important partnership with Econet who have provided tablets and mobile phones to the (Old Mutual Development Programme) technical teams, and we would like to expand on the relationship with Econet,” said de Jong.

Econet Was represented by customer experience manager Michael Munawa added: “We are excited with the initiative. Sports development needs to be done as early as possible and we are honoured to partner the Zimbabwe Rugby Union.

“We will deal with any challenges so as to inspire our juniors,” said Munawa.
