ZIFA To Access $750k From FIFA

THE Zimbabwe Football Association is now set to receive the expected $750 000 from FIFA after the world body gave thumbs up to the Philip Chiyangwa led board’s financials.

ZIFA has since circulated the audited financial statements to its members ahead of the expected adoption at the soon to be held Annual General Meeting.

The statutory audit, will once again pave way for the release of the 2017 tranche of the FIFA financial assistance package availed to compliant member states.

It has also emerged that a FIFA team that dispatched to Harare last year as part of the world body’s pilot project to randomly choose member associations for a check for auditing, was satisfied with the ZIFA audit.
