The Zimbabwe Under-20 football team opened their 2017 Mopani Copper Mines COSAFA Championships campaign with a 0-0 draw against Lesotho Thursday afternoon.

The Group C match was played at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Zimbabwe’s next match is against Angola on December 10 before rounding off their group matches with a date against Namibia a day later.

The Young Warriors are being coached by former Highlanders right back Bekithemba Ndlovu.

Bukosi Ncube (Highlanders), Blessing Nyamuzihwa (ZPC Kariba) and King Nasama (Dynamos) are some of the players expected to carry Zimbabwe through.
