Little known Zimbabwe striker Godknows Mutina is training with South Africa ABSA premiership champions, Bidvest Wits with a view to signing a deal, should he impress coach Gavin Hunt and his technical team.

Mutina, who plays for Nico United in the Botswana premiership, impressed Wits with his performances for Nico where he scored 11 goals, 5 behind fellow Zimbabwean striker Terrence Mandaza who was the top goalscorer with 16 goals. 

The Albun Academy product will be hoping to impress Wits coach Hunt who worked with another Zimbabwean striker Cuthbert Malajila in the 2016/17 season on a loan stint from Mamelodi Sundowns. Malajila enjoyed regular game time under Hunt scoring four goals in 25 ABSA Premiership appearances to play a crucial role in Wits' title-winning championship.
