SportsZone Football pundit Mugove Chigada is back with another round of Castle lager PSL predictions.

Allan

SATURDAY
Chapungu v Bulawayo City (Ascot)
The two clubs have been struggling of late and this is one game that could go either way. Chapungu go in as favourites if they can be able to utilise home advantage. However they face a Bulawayo side that narrowly lost in recent matches. A win for both teams is crucial as that will ensure they rise from the bottom eight and be one foot away from surviving relegation.
Prediction: Chapungu win

FC Platinum v Dynamos (Mandava)
mapeza

This is a massive battle. It is interesting in many ways. FC Platinum must win this battle to ensure that they remain on top or possibly open up a four point gap if CAPS United lose their game. FC Platinum wasted a chance to open that gap when they drew 0-0 with Border Strikers in their last game. Dynamos, who are fighting for pride, could give them a difficult time as they go into the match without pressure. The dilemma for Dynamos though is that if they win this one, they will be doing a favour to bitter rivals CAPS United and Highlanders.
Prediction: FC Platinum win

SUNDAY
Highlanders v Ngezi Platinum (Barbourfields)
bosso

Highlanders, who thrust themselves back into the title race after a 1-0 win over Harare City, are hosting stubborn Ngezi Platinum. Erol Akbay’s side will be praying that they collected full points while CAPS United and log leaders FC Platinum falter. But they face a Ngezi Platinum side capable of bringing any team down to earth. Ngezi Platinum are coming from a 2-0 win over Chapungu.
Prediction: A draw is likely while Highlanders have an outside chance of winning.

Hwange v Border Strikers (Colliery)
Hwange are back at their hunting ground, Colliery, where they will host struggling Border Strikers. The coalminers have not been at their best in recent games, but their ability to react when cornered, is unquestionable. They have always reserved the best for the last matches of the season but they are coming from a 2-0 defeat to How Mine. Border Strikers on the other hand have not been able to replicate their home form on the road. They forced a goalless draw against log leaders FC Platinum in their last game.
Prediction: Hwange win

CAPS United v How Mine (NSS)
celeb

CAPS United remain unbeaten at home and How Mine will need to dig deep if they are to change that and become the first team to do so this season. Lloyd Chitembwe’s side hit a brickwall at Nyamhunga when they played a goalless draw. They will be hoping to bounce back but they meet a How Mine side with a lot of quality in their team. They are coming from a 2-0 win over Hwange.
Prediction: Draw

Mutare City v ZPC Kariba (Sakubva)
Mutare City have another tough assignment against ZPC Kariba. ZPC Kariba have indicated they want to win and end the season in a better position. Coach Sunday Chidzambwa have however indicated that a team fighting relegation, like Mutare City, is as good as team fighting for the title.
Prediction: Mutare City win

Triangle v Chicken Inn (Gibbo)
Triangle face Chicken Inn high in spirit after a win in the Chibuku Super Cup and then the league match. They face champions Chicken Inn who have been inconsistent. The Gamecocks are coming from a 2-0  win over Mutare City.  They are now building for next season while Triangle have hope of finishing among the top four.
Prediction: Draw

MONDAY
Tsholotsho v Harare City (Luveve)
hre city

This will be a must win for Tsholotsho in their fight against relegation.  They meet wounded Harare City on Sunday. Moses “Bambo” Chunga’s side will have increased options by welcoming players from suspension. They were a depleted side when they faced Highlanders due to injuries and suspensions.
Prediction: Draw
