ANNOUNCEMENT of the Warriors squad to play Zambia in a friendly match on Saturday has been deferred to tomorrow.

The squad was expected Wednesday afternoon.

Zimbabwean soccer fans are eagerly waiting for Warriors coach Kallisto Pasuwa to make the announcement as this could give an indication as to which local players the former Dynamos coach wants to take to the 2017 Afcon finals.

The Warriors will play Chipolopolo in a friendly match on Saturday at the National Sports as part of their preparations for the Afcon finals.

They are also set to host Tanzania at the same venue on November 13.

Pasuwa has indicated that he will use only local players for the game against Zambia and then call full squad for the Tanzania encounter which falls in a FIFA week.

And Warriors manager Sharrif Musa told SportsZone Wednesday afternoon that the squad would be out Thursday.

“The Warriors squad will be announced at a press conference tomorrow (Thursday),” said Musa.
