Warriors Leave For Ivory Coast

The Warriors left for Ivory Coast in the early hours of Saturday without Caps United striker Leonard Tsipa who had earlier been reported to have been called up for national team duty.

It has emerged that Tsipa wasn’t part of the Warriors plans for the friendly match against Ivory Coast.

A second string Warriors side will play the West African giants on Boxing Day.

National team coach Kallisto Pasuwa and one of his assistants Mkupali Masuku traveled with the squad while Saul Chaminuka was left behind to coordinate camp when the foreign based players arrive.

Most of the foreign based players including Khama Billiat, Marvellous Nakamba, Costa Nhamoinesu and Mathew Rusike are expected back home Saturday evening or latest Sunday.
