Warriors Going For The Kill

New Warriors captain Knowledge Musona says the Warriors are going for the kill and the players are confident of getting three points against Liberia on Sunday.

Zimbabwe host the West Africans in a 2019 Afcon qualifier at the National Sports without star man Khama Billiat who has been ruled with an ankle injury.

The absence of Billiat, though critical, has not affected morale in the camp according to the Warriors skipper.

“What we want is three points, we do not have any pressure,” Musona said after Friday’s training session at the match venue.

“Khama is a good player and missing him is sad but we can do with what we have. We are confident.”

Coach Norman Mapeza gave a slight indication of his first eleven during the workout.

George Chigova looks a sure bet for the number one jersey.

The back four had Eric Chipeta (right back), Partson Jaure (CB), Teenage Hadebe (CB) and Onismor Bhasera as the left back.

Danny Phiri and Marvelous Nakamba are likely to form the central midfield with Thabani Kamusoko playing just in front of the two.

Kuda Mahachi and Musona were coming from wide with Tendai Ndoro the out and out striker.
