
Warriors Get Tough Draw
Zimbabwe Senior men’s football team, the Warriors were drawn alongside Algeria, Senegal and Tunisia for the 2017 African Cup of Nations to be hosted by Gabon in 2017.
The draw was conducted in Libreville Gabon on Wednesday night and the Warriors were represented by Manger Shariff Mussa.
This will be Zimbabwe’s third appearance at the continental show piece.

Hosts Gabon were handed a favourable draw, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s side set to face Cameroon, Burkina Faso and the debutants Guinea-Bissau in Group A.
Holders and one of the favourites Côte d'Ivoire are in Group C together with Togo, Morocco and DR Congo while group D has Ghana, who are hoping to win a first title since 1982, seven-time winners Egypt, Mali and Uganda.
The final tournament will be held from 14 January to 5 February 2017 in the Gabonese cities of Libreville, Franceville, Oyem and Port Gentil.
