Warriors Defender Nears Chiefs Move
AFTER impressing in Zimbabwe colours last Sunday, Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe is now anxiously awaiting ongoing talks between his agent and Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa.
Amakhosi are expected to make a decision on the Chicken Inn centre back after confirmation from the club on player departures.
The Absa Premiership club confirmed that the contracts of Siyanda Xulu, Lucky Baloyi, Camaldine Abraw and Lewis Macha will be terminated, while Enocent Mkhabela will be given a chance to make his stay at Platinum Stars permanent, after his loan spell with the North West outfit.
While Hadebe looks like a sure bet to join Chiefs, his fellow Zimbabwean Michelle Katsvairo will be sent out on a season-long loan.
Hadebe’s agent Gibson Mahachi, confirmed to Laduma that negotiations with Chiefs for the defender have progressed.
Hadebe could be added to the defence of Steve Komphela’s team for the 2017/18 season, depending on the outcome of the negotiations.
