Mighty Warriors star striker Rutendo ‘Madzimai’ Makore played her first match in the Spanish Primera Division Femenina on Saturday providing two assists for her club Sporting Huelva in their 2-0 win over Albacete

Sporting Huelva are placed 10th in a 16 team log standing.

Makore is on a six-month loan spell from Black Rhinos which will be upgraded to a long-term permanent deal she impresses between now and the end of the season.

She was scouted during the COSAFA senior women’s tournament held in September in Bulawayo where she won the golden boot after finding the net 10 times.

Makore had a two-month trial stint at Egyptian club El Elameyeen FC in Cairo earlier in 2017 together with Process Chatsamwa as the players broke new ground as the first female players to ply their trade outside Zimbabwe.

The two players emerged as top scorer and best goalkeeper between 26 February and 24 April.
