Tsipa Credits Chitembwe For CAPS United’s Success
Leonard Tsipa has hailed his coach Lloyd Chitembwe for transforming CAPS United into formidable title contenders this season.
The veteran striker who is topping the scoring charts with 10 goals said Chitembwe brought in a sense of belief among the players which has seen the team adopt a winning mentality.
“Lloyd Chitembwe has managed to infuse a winning mentality among the players and this has been the reason for our good run. He has been pushing players to the limits and this has managed to bring the best out of the players,” said Tsipa.
“I owe my resurgence in form to Chitembwe because he has been encouraging me to work harder. I also want to thank my wife Samantha for her support and urging to devote my life to God. I was astray before but now I am focused because I have devoted my life to God.”
The 34 year old striker said CAPS United will remain focused for the remaining games despite opening at two point lead at the top of the log standings.
CAPS United shot to the top of the log standings with an emphatic 3-1 away to tricky Border Strikers.
