Tsholotsho Relocates?

TSHOLOTSHO FC are planning on using Dulivhadzimu Stadium in Beitbridge as their home ground for the 2017 season.

Sportszone.co.zw can confirm that ZIFA officials, PSL grounds committee together with Tsholotsho officials met in Beitbridge to assess the facility.

For the past two years, Tsholotsho have been using White City Stadium in Bulawayo and are hoping the move will inspire them to get good results.

Dulivhadzimu was home to relegated side Border Strikers last season.

ZIFA spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela confirmed that they were on their way to Beitbridge to inspect the stadium.

“It’s a PSL matter and we can’t give a comment in relation to the stadium. But we are on our way to Beitbridge to inspect the stadium. Tsholotsho could be using the stadium if they get the green light. They have expressed interest in using the facility as their home ground”

Following the departure of Lizwe Sweswe for FC Platinum, Tsholotsho have appointed head coach Farai Tawachera.

Former Mighty Warriors gaffer Shareck Mlauzi will be Tawachera’s assistant.

Tawachera was Sweswe’s assistant last season.

Mlauzi led the Mighty Warriors to a historic qualification for the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil and the Africa Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon last year.
