Tsholotsho In Trouble

Harare City won 2-0 away to Tsholotsho in a Castle Lager PSL match on Monday, a result that makes Tsholotsho’s task of escaping relegation all the harder.

Tsholotsho remain in 15th place two points behind Mutare City Rovers, who are in safety with 5 games to go.

Raphael Manuvire scored in the 13th minute and despite a lot of attacking play from Tsholotsho, they failed to score, and substitute Gray Kufandada scored the visitors second goal with five minutes left.

Both teams had six shots on target with 35 goal attempts in the contest.

Tsholotsho got out of the relegation zone on the last day in the 2015 season, and coach Lizwe Sweswe remains hopeful.

“We are still in it, It's game on,” said Sweswe

But Tsholotsho’s final fixtures include games away to Ngezi Platinum and Highlanders, plus a match at home to FC Platinum.

Harare City moved up two places into seventh with the win.
