Triangle Itching For Revenge
Triangle believes the Chibuku Super Cup clash against FC Platinum provides them with a chance to revenge for the back to back loses they suffered in the league this year.
Triangle assistant coach Biggie Zuze believes the searing temperatures in the Lowveld will give them a slighter advantage over FC Platinum going into the match.
“ They beat us twice in the league and we will not allow them to continue dominating us. after all they are in the running for the league and we will take the Chibuku Cup. They are our neighbours so we should just share the two trophies on offer," said Zuze.
" We are excited about playing at home because it gives a fairer advantage because of the rising temperatures that we are now in summer."
FC Platinum welcomed the fixture against Triangle as they play similar type of football and are closer to the Lowveld.
“It was a fair draw and playing Triangle is just like playing home away from home. Gibbo is one of the best stadiums in the country and fans must brace for an exciting encounter," said Chido Chizondo the club's spokesperson.
Platinum overcame Triangle 2-0 at Mandava stadium before completing the double with a 2-1 victory at Gibbo stadium in the league. The Pure Platinum Play won the Chibuku Super Cup ion its return in 2014.
