The Premier Soccer League is yet to clarify the eligibility of Ajax Cape Town striker Tendai Ndoro.

Orlando Pirates and Polokwane City recently played matches under protest against Ajax, who fielded Ndoro despite the Zimbabwean having played for three clubs this season - in contravention of FIFA rules.

The PSL's Dispute Resolution Chamber initially gave the Premiership strugglers the go-ahead to use Ndoro but the League later indicated they would appeal the decision.

The PSL released a statement today, which reads: 'The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee met last night to deliberate on a number of matters. Below is the summary of the Disciplinary Committee:

'PROTESTS by ORLANDO PIRATES FC and POLOKWANE CITY FC against AJAX CAPE TOWN FC:

'Orlando Pirates FC lodged a formal Protest against the inclusion by Ajax Cape Town FC of the player Tendai Ndoro in their line up during their Absa Premiership fixture at the Cape Town City Stadium on 31 January 2018.

'Similarly, Polokwane City FC lodged a formal Protest against the inclusion by Ajax Cape Town FC of the player Tendai Ndoro in their line up during their Absa Premiership fixture at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on 04 February 2018.

'After hearing legal arguments from all three parties on a preliminary point of law, the Disciplinary Committee directed the parties to file short heads of argument dealing primarily with the jurisdiction of the DC to entertain the protests within seven days.'
