TSHOLOTSHO FC coach Lizwe Sweswe has declared that Highlanders will not have it on a silver platter when the two clash in a crucial Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter at Barbourfields Stadium on Saturday.

“Bosso should sweat for the title,” Sweswe told SportsZone late Friday.

Highlanders trail log leaders Caps United by a single point and are all out for a win as they seek to topple Makepekepe who have a potential banana peel encounter against Harare City.

They face Tsholotsho who are two points deep in the relegation zone and are fresh from a player strike that cast a doubt on this fixture two days ago.

And there are allegations that the Tsholotsho strike was an indirect attempt to give the match to Bosso on a silver platter.

Statistics favour Highlanders as the Bulawayo giants have never dropped a single point against Tsholotsho in all the three league encounters they have played against the Matabeleland North based side.

However, Sweswe laughed off the allegations before declaring war on Bosso.

“If Highlanders win the league what do Tsholotsho benefit, we are also fighting our own war so they should not expect an easy ride.

“Whoever should win the league should sweat for it...all my boys are raring to go and we have put the strike issues behind us,” said Sweswe.

Tsholotsho are second from bottom on 23 points, two behind Mutare City Rovers who have a difficult away trip to Dynamos.

Two teams will be dropped from the 16 team league at the end of the season and the race to determine who joins already relegated Border Strikers is now between Mutare City and Tsholotsho although Chapungu are still mathematically unsafe.

Chapungu who are on 31 points host FC Platinum at Ascot where the visitors have never scored since 2014 when the air force side returned to the top flight.

The two league games at Ascot since 2014 have ended goalless.

A draw will not be ideal for FC Platinum who are on 52 points and trail log leaders Caps United by two points.
