FC Platinum's assistant coach, Lizwe Sweswe has extended his stay with the Zvishavane based outfit by another year. 

Sweswe signed a one year contract with the newly crowned PSL champions at the beginning of the 2017 season.

FC Platinum Media Liaison Officer Chidochashe Chizondo confirmed the developments.

“Sweswe will be staying with us for another season as we renewed his contract in July. He is the man who helped us win the league so we intend to keep him,” she said.

Before joining Pure Platinum Play at the beginning of the 2017 season, Sweswe was in charge of Tsholotsho whom he guided to their maiden dance in the top flight league in 2015.

The Zvishavane based were crowned PSL champions last Saturday following their 2-0 win over Chapungu in their last game of the season at Ascot Stadium in Gweru finishing the season with 72 points, two points clear of second-placed Dynamos.
