Sponsors Extend Contract
DAIRIBORD ZIMBABWE HOLDINGS LIMITED has extended its sponsorship for the schools rugby festival set to kick-off this Sunday at Prince Edward School.
The week-long festival has a record 160 teams taking part at this year’s event and organisers say they have realised profits from the corporate sponsorship.
Dairibord has been sponsoring the festival for the past three years.
“Dairibord Zimbabwe Holdings Limited has extended its sponsorship of the schools rugby with another three years.
“As sponsors we are benefiting a lot from the deal and we are proud to associate ourselves with the sport because of its discipline,” said Dairibord Holdings marketing executive Tracy Mutaviri.
Mutaviri has applauded the inclusion of girls in the sport.
“We are also encouraged by how the sport has grown to involve girls, we will continue to facilitate all the requirements to make the environment friendly for them.
“This is the platform we will make sure we provide for the youths as we place them on the international map.”
The annual event will this year have 106 boys teams, 34 girls’ teams, 16 primary schools and four foreign teams.
Festival begins April 30 to May 6.
