Sibanda, Mhango Recovering Well
THE two FC Platinum key players Charles Sibanda and Winston Mhango who were involved in a car accident on Saturday night are recovering well and might be released from Matardei hospital later today.
FC Platinum spokesperson Chido Chizondo confirmed Monday morning that the duo was now out of danger.
"There were no fractures, Charles lost his front teeth while Mhango sustained some injuries which are not serious.
"The two are expected out of hospital later today or tomorrow Tuesday, " said Chizondo.
FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza who had warned the players against night travelling soon after their 3-0 Chibuku Super Cup semi final win over Harare City on Saturday, revealed that the two will need two weeks to fully recover.
"What happened is sad, I had actually advised all the players who wanted to travel to do the morning after.
"The good news is that there is nothing serious, they will need about two weeks to recover," said Mapeza.
The influential duo will miss FC Platinum's crucial weekend league game away to Chapungu.
They might also not recover in time for the decisive Week 29 clash against Highlanders- a fixture that could determine the winners of the 2016 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions.
