
Shariwa Warns FC Platinum
Mutare City Rovers Coach Taku Shariwa has warned FC Platinum to come to Sakubva Stadium prepared. Gusha Bhora hosts the Platinum Miners in matchday 12 of the Castle lager PSL on Sunday.
Mutare City has been blowing hot and cold in the top flight league but Shariwa and his charges are buoyed by their away victory over Hwange on matchday 11.
Shariwa said he wants nothing short of victory. “I want maximum points at Sakubva and I will need another set of points when I travel to Mandava. They can go and beat other teams not us because we are in the relegation zone.
“We need to maintain our consistency after winning in Hwange so what I am saying is my side my remain focused and make sure that we will not lose the next coming four matches, said a confident Shariwa.
“We need to prove to the fans that our victory in Hwange was not a fluke. One thing I will assure fans is a good afternoon. Platinum plays entertaining football and they also keep possession just like us.
“I however respect Norman Mapeza because he was my boss and my elder brother as I grew up in Chitungwiza. He is a guru having won the championship in 2008”.
The Mutare City coach will look up to Captain Stephen Sibanda, attacking midfielders Scolar Hadebe and Wellington Taderera to give him the desired results.
Gusha Bhora are 14th on the log with 9 points from 11outings.
