Ronaldo Eyeing Chinese Move?
Real Madrid club-record goal scorer Cristiano Ronaldo is weighing up a move to the Chinese Super League according to his former coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
The World Cup-winning head coach who's now in charge of Chinese Super League giants Guangzhou Evergrande says the five-time Ballon d'Or has asked him about life in China on more than one occasion.
At the age of 33, the Los Blancos attacking talisman is now looking towards his future plans, as his career reaches its final stretch and a lucrative move to the South-east Asian country could benefit both sides.
"Cristiano Ronaldo has asked me more than once what it is like to live in China," he told reporters, as quoted by Marca.
“I explained to him what it is like and of course we need to take into consideration that China is China for different players.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is a brand, an industry and China is the biggest country in the world. I said what I always say that someone looking for an opportunity has to go to China."
