GIFTED right back Jameson Mukombwe is excited with his switch to champions FC Platinum and wants to make the most of the move when the 2018 season begins.

Pure Platinum Play signed Mukombwe on a one-year loan contract from Black Rhinos as Norman Mapeza seeks to add depth to his squad ahead of the CAF Champions League.

Mukombwe has been one of the star players of 2017 and received his maiden Warriors call-up for Zimbabwe’s Afcon qualifier against Liberia at the National Sports last March.

“I think I played well this past season because everyone talked about me and to cap it all I got a call up for national duty.

“It’s amazing given that I was coming from Black Rhinos, one of the so called small teams,” Mukombwe told SportsZone.
