
PSL Issues Ultimatum
The Premier Soccer League will not relegate any team this season if the football mother body Zifa insists on their decision to have four teams promoted from the Division One regions.
The top flight remains adamant that they will relegate two teams as agreed at the beginning of the season.
A PSL meeting held in the capital yesterday also resolved to have an Emergency Committee run the league’s affairs in the wake of Chairman Peter Dube’s suspension.
The league’s chief executive Kenny Ndebele will now report to the Emergency Committee.
Caps United chairman Lewis Uriri was appointed spokesperson of the Emergency Committee.
