PSL Introduces POS Machines At Stadia

The Premier Soccer League will be introducing Point of Sale machines as a payment option for the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match between Highlanders and Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday. 

PSL CEO Kennedy Ndebele said the move will easy cash shortage pressure on fans and enable easy access to the stadium. 

“We are introducing the system to cater for our fans who are failing to attend matches because of cash shortages.  The POS machines for match will be deployed at four turnstiles; Gates 2, 4, 12 and 17.  

“If the system works well, we will have POS machines at all our Castle Lager Soccer matches in the future,” said Ndebele. 

The PSL has been inundated with calls from football fans around the country to introduce cashless methods of payment. 

The giants clash in a high profile Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter and the match is live of Supersport 9 at 3PM biut the fixture is however likely to draw big crowd as the two traditional rivals compete for supremacy. 

DeMbare have scored at BF against Bosso in their last five league matches in Bulawayo where they have usually dominated until last season’s 1-2 defeat which ended The Glamour Boys’ 10-year dominance over Tshilamoya.

Highlanders are also out for revenge having lost 2-3 on penalties against their bitter rivals in the Independence Cup final played at the National Sports on April 18.

Highlanders are currently on second place on the log-standings while Dynamos are twelfth.
