Prophet Walter Magaya’s Yadah FC continued with their “miracle” start to the season when they handed Ngezi Platinum Stars their first defeat of the season on Saturday.

Brian Chikwenya’s well taken free kick gifted Yadah FC a 1-0 win over Tonderai Ndiraya’s Ngezi at the National Sports.

Title favourites FC Platinum dropped two points against Bulawayo City in another Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Barbourfields.

Charles Sibanda scored the fastest goal of the season so far when he curled in a free kick two minutes into the match after Marshal Mudehwe was fouled on the edge of the box.

The platinum miners hung onto the slender lead until the 69th minute when Bulawayo City’s Mkhululi Moyo chipped the ball over FC Platinum keeper Petros Mhari.

Both Bulawayo City and FC Platinum are now on seven points, two behind Ngezi Platinum.

Kelvin Kaindu picked up his first  win when How Mine defeated Chapungu 2-1 at Luveve.

Kuda Musharu and Pasca Manhanga were on target for Chikurupati while the ageless Philip Marufu got one for Chapungu.
