Pfumbidzai Taunts Zamalek

RONALD PFUMBIDZAI will most likely play as a left attacking winger when Caps United clash with Zamalek in a CAF Champions League group phase encounter on Friday night and the former Young Warriors player says he is ready for the task.

A talented player with a cultured left foot, Pfumbidzai normally plays left back but will likely be pushed further with young Valentine Musarurwa taking his usual position.

“We have an equal chance as them (Zamalek),” declared Pfumbidzai just before Caps United’s departure for Cairo on Wednesday afternoon.

“We just have to play our normal game because we are also champions here as much as Zamalek are also champions there in Egypt.

“So there will be a fierce fight in Cairo on Friday night.”

Caps United are expected to arrive in Cairo on Thursday a day before they take to the field for their first ever Champions League group phase encounter.

The game kicks off at 9PM
