Pfumbidzai Back, Trains With Caps Ahead Of ZPC Kariba Match

RONALD PFUMBIDZAI was part of Caps United’s Friday training session after returning from a trial stint at Bloemfontein Celtic in South Africa on Thursday afternoon.

The left back arrived late for training, held a short conversation with coach Lloyd Chitembwe before he joined his teammates for a run at the National Sports Stadium’s B Arena.

“I am back and now waiting to hear from Celtic. The issue is now being handled by both teams,” Pfumbidzai told SportsZone just before he started training.

Reports say the gifted left back has impressed Celtic who are now preparing to table an offer for the former Hippo Valley star.

Indications are that Chitembwe might throw Pfumbidzai into the fray on Sunday when struggling Makepekepe host ZPC Kariba at the National Sports.

Caps United have lost back to back against Harare City and Chicken Inn and find themselves third from bottom although they still have six games in hand.
