Pasuwa Names Squad For Guinea Encounter
WARRIORS Coach Kalisto Pasuwa has named a 21 member squad for the upcoming final 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea next month.
Zimbabwe booked a place at the AFCON finals with a game to spare following a 3-0 win against Malawi in July at the National Sports Stadium.

The Warriors are looking to complete a fairy-tale unbeaten qualification campaign when they face Guinea in Conakry on September 3.
Pasuwa retained largely the same team that secured qualification for the Gabon 2017 finals with the only notable ommissions being Khama Billiat and Hardlife Zvirekwi. Billiat was overlooked as Pasuwa looks to give a rest to the Mamelodi Sundowns man while Zvirekwi has been ruled out following his suspension by the Confederation of African Football for having picked two yellow cards in earlier Group L games.
Pasuwa has roped in Dynamos right back Godknows Murwira to fill the void left by Zvirekwi while including Nyasha Mushekwi who missed the Malawi game through injury.
Mushekwi will be expected to lead the line with Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro. Mushekwi hit a treble at the weekend to take his goal tally to 19 in the Chinese League One League while Ndoro scored a hattrick in the first round of matches in the South African ABSA premiership on Wednesday night.
