Pamushana Aim Record Breaking Title Streak

 

The National Association of Schools Heads Stella Tea Under-17 netball finals will explode this Friday at Sobukhazi High School in Bulawayo defending champions Pamushana High are fighting to win the tournament for a record breaking five times on the trot.

Pamushana High are the favorites to win the competition which they have won for the past four years but they will face fierce competition from the likes of Sikhulile High and Chekai High which came close to winning the tournament in the previous years.

Twelve teams (provincials winners) including the defending champions Pamushana High and the host school Sobukhazi will battle in this year’s finals with the winners expected to pocket US$4 400 and the loosing finalist $3 000.

Nash president Johnson Madhuku applauded the sponsors of the tournament Tanganda Tea Company for a job well done in organizing the competition.

“All is set for Friday in Bulawayo, twelve teams will battle for honors in the Nash Stella Tea Netball finals.

“Our sponsors have done a good job in organizing and we expect to see fireworks this Frday at Sobukhazi High School,” he said.
