OUTGOING Highlanders coach Erol Akbay says he misses demoted former goalkeepers’ coach Cosmos Tsano Zulu after having worked with him for more than a year.

Zulu, a naturally gifted motivator, was demoted by the club to be the technical advisor to the club’s junior teams after clashes with assistant coach Amini Soma-Phiri.

He was also fined $700.

Zulu and Soma-Phiri were suspended by the club after numerous clashes many of which happened in front of players and a three member disciplinary panel was set up to deal with the matter.

“Of course I miss Cosmos Zulu, he is a good friend of mine. If you work with somebody for one and a half years and one day he is not there you miss him, don’t you, especially Cosmos Zulu you miss him definitely,” said Akbay.

Akbay will leave Bosso at the end of the season.
