Grant Mitchell, the Old Georgians Coach reckons the match is the toughest of their campaign so far but is optimistic that they will prevail.

“We know what to expect in terms of the level of competition of the opponents and we know they are on top of the log.  So this will be our toughest match of the league but we are excited for it, the players are excited for it, so we are going for it,” said Mitchell.

“We have to win this match with a bonus point to keep our hopes of qualifying for the next round. We have to do everything we have to do for our match because we are not in control of the result between False Bay and Durban Collegians.

“Everything has gone on well so far in terms of preparations, we have just had one or two changes due to injuries and unavailability to travel but otherwise everything is good for us.”

Old Georgians go into the match buoyed by the fact that they managed to get a win in their last trip to South Africa when they beat White River in their first pool match last month.

The Zimbabwe champions go into the match after an impressive display last weekend at home when they beat Durban Collegians 38-22.
