NYANDORO, SEMAKWERI JOINS CHICKEN INN
Darryl Nyandoro and Chris Semakweri have signed for Chicken Inn, the club has confirmed.
Chicken Inn secretary Tavengwa Hara said the two impressed the technical department led by Rahman Gumbo.
“I can confirm that we have signed Semakweri and Nyandoro. We are looking at them adding value to the team because they have vast experience," said Hara.
The two former Monomotapa players have been club hunting since the start of the season after leaving the DRC where they were attached to TP Mazembe. The duo failed to impose themselves in the TP Mazembe team and spent the better part of their tenure being shunted from one club to the other on loan.
Semakweri and Nyandoro tried their luck at Dynamos and impressed coach Lloyd Mutasa but failure to produce reverse clearances so the deal fell through. The two were then lured by the Champions who want to beef their squad in anticipation of a player exodus to South Africa. A number of players who includes Michelle Katsvairo, Danny Phiri, Moses Demera, and Tafadzwa Kutinyu are said to be on their way to South Africa ahead of the commencement of the 2016/17 season in August.
