Nomadic Goalie In Mozambique

NOMADIC goalkeeper Philip Nhete has find a new home in Mozambique

The former Dynamos, Mutare City Rovers player, who had a one-year stint with Gaborone United IN 2015 joined Chingale football club which is based in Tete.

His manager George Deda confirmed Nhete’s new home.

“He signed a one year deal. He was at Mutare City last season but the club was relegated and he didn’t want to play in Division One. Chingale is one of the big teams in the Mozambique Premier League. I believe he will add value to their goalkeeping department,” Deda said.

Chingale have in the past hosted CAPS United during their 2016 pre-season tour.

Deda tipped Nhete to shine, following Willard Manyatera’s footsteps who is at Farraviaro de Beira.

“With all his experience, I know he will shine. He played for the biggest club in Zimbabwe, Dynamos and has been in Botswana for a while.

“That foreign experience will help him settle quickly. It's good to see a different goalkeeper and how he goes about in his fresh career

“He has had a good career record and has played a lot of games at a very high level. Hopefully his experience will add value. He will do well, he's got all the attributes,” Deda said.
