Ngoma Not For Sale - Yanga

Ngoma not for sale-Yanga

Tanzanian champions, Young Africans have put a ‘not for sale’ tag on their striker Donald Ngoma.

Ngoma has been on the radar of many clubs including two from South Africa, Turkey, who had made inquiries on him following his scoring exploits in the East African country.

“Ngoma is a valuable player in our premiership. At one point we wanted to sell him but we decided against the idea because we need him for our Champions League.

“A club from Turkey had expressed their willingness to have him and we had put a US$400,000 tag on him. We know football is business but we still need Donald services.

“He has made a very good combination with Hamish (Tambwe) and since he joined us we never lost a match in the league,” said Jerry Muro the spokesperson for Yanga.

Ngoma said he was committed to Yanga.

“I have heard about it and also read it in one of the newspapers. I have not been contacted by any club and at the moment I am committed to my team Yanga.

“It’s only God who knows my destiny and when God wants me to move I will probably move one day,’ he said.

Yanga has also foreign players from Niger, Congo, Togo, Rwanda and Burundi besides the two Zimbabweans.

Ngoma has scored 17 league goals and has made 10 assists to his fellow striking partner Hamis Tambwe who leads the charts with 21 goals.

Ngoma’s team is still in the CAF Federations’ Cup.
