The rugby league in Harare is on the verge of growth with the Tobacco Industries and PHD Ministries set to join the league.

And to try and measure the quality of players in the two sides, Harare Province Rugby League has organised that they play each other and also take on XP Horns – a second tier team playing in the B League.

“We have new clubs that have come on board. At the moment they are to play trial games since the season is underway and almost done. We hope they are going to continue as we can incorporate them into the league system next season,” said Harare Province secretary Cris Katogu.
