New Faces At Dynamos As Rebuilding Continues
Rebuilding former champions Dynamos trained at Hellenics Sports Club Thursday morning.
Ex Howmine players Victor kamhuka and Emmanuel Mandiranga were impressive among the new players who are angling for a move to Dembare. Former Hwange right back Phakamani Dube is also training with Dynamos.
The Harare giants lost four of their stars Brett Amidu, who joined FC Platinum and Soccer Star of the year finalist, Godknows Murwira and Dominic Mukandi, both snapped up by Ngezi Platinum.
First Choice goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva also left the glamour boys for South African Premiership side Cape Town City with Dynamos paying a huge price for their often lackadaisical approach to business as they failed to tie up the Warriors number one keeper until his contract expired on December 31.
Mukuruva, who penned a 3 year deal with Cape Town City, left as a free agent with Dembare losing out on potential financial gain from selling the player.
DeMbare are struggling for funds since BancABC, which used to inject funds for signing-on fees into the club, is still to renew the contract which expired at the end of the year.
Despite the setback of losing some of their key players, Coach Lloyd Mutasa will be happy to rebuild his team around 2012 soccer star Denver Mukamba who was among senior players present at Thursday training together with Ocean Mushure, Elisha Muroiwa, Valentine Ndaba, Tichaona Chipunza and Wisdom Mutasa.
The club axed senior players Rodreck Mutuma, Stephen Alimenda, Sydney Linyama and Jacob Muzokomba.
