Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Tonderai Ndiraya has heaped praise on Highlanders ahead of the two sides’ clash in the Chibuku Super Cup semi final at Barbourfields on Sunday.

The Premiership underdogs defied odds to reach the last four of the country’s premier knockout football tourney but this has not quenched their thirst.

“This is Highlanders we are playing on Sunday, they are a very good side,” said Ndiraya.

“They are doing well both in the league and in the Cup and will obviously be at their best when we meet.

“But we have also done well to reach this stage, and will not lose the match before we play it,” said the former Dynamos gaffer.

Bosso are chasing a rare double and would want to see off Ngezi’s challenge, get into the final before shifting their attention to their grueling league battle against log leaders Caps United and FC Platinum.
