Ndiraya Builds A Powerful Machine

NGEZI PLATINUM STARS unveiled nine new players at their base in Mhondoro Wednesday morning and coach Tonderai Ndiraya now feels he has a formidable squad that can genuinely challenge for the 2018 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title.

Former Warriors sub keeper Donovan Bernard and Dynamos’ 2017 Player of the Year Tichaona Chipunza were part of the players unveiled at the Platinum Diner in Ngezi.

Gangly goalkeeper Tatenda Munditi, former How Mine defender Frank Mukarati and Marlon Mushonga (Tsholotsho) are all now at Ngezi.

Kelvin Sande, Master Chaonza and Ghanaian striker Stephen Owusu are also now part of Ndiraya’s side.

“I think now basically I can say we now have a formidable side. Last year we finished third precisely so we would want to do better and I think doing better is going for the title,” said Ndiraya.

The nine new signings join the likes of Walter Mukanga, Godknows Murwira, Liberty Chakoroma, Xolani Moyo and Terrence Dzukamanja in a powerful side.

Tichaona Mabvura, Donald Teguru and Kelvin Bulaji are still at Ngezi.
